Introduction

ICT offers managed virtual servers as an alternative to managed physical servers to research Staff and Students based upon prior approval.

Service

This service takes advantage of virtualization technology to host multiple virtual servers in a physical server. You can create and manage virtual machines in a centrally-maintained computing environment for teaching, research and administrative activities. The minimum requirement will be based on the nature of the services needed and the delivery time depends on your requirement.

Students who need simpler way to manage or host their projects can contact itr-singapore@jcu.edu.au for assistance. They will get access to Web, Database and remote access/administration features to manage their applications.
